Saltwater Veterans Sailing Project Pathways Scholarships supporting veterans and their families to progress in sailing.

SVSP Scholarships & Regatta Support!

We’re thrilled to announce our Saltwater Veterans Sailing Project (SVSP) Pathways Scholarships — designed to support veterans and their families in taking the next step on the water.

Interested in completing a sailing or safety boat course? Whether through one of our supporting organisations or your local Australian Sailing–accredited centre, these scholarships provide contributory funding towards your course and regatta entry fees. By contributing a small amount yourself, the scholarship ensures a little skin in the game, while keeping the program sustainable for our small ACNC registered charity.

Through the SVSP Pathways Scholarship, we aim to help current SVSP Sailing Supporters (2025/26) progress along the Australian Sailing Pathway— from dinghy, keelboat, and powerboat courses, to windsurfing and foiling. This initiative supplements our own SVSP planned and organised events, helping you gain recognised skills, confidence, and enjoyment on the water.

Supporting Veterans and Families to Compete Beyond SVSP Events

We recognise that many of our sailors take the initiative to represent the veteran sailing community in regattas and competitions outside our nominated courses & training.

To support this, we’ve introduced the SVSP Regatta Participation Support Initiative — providing modest regatta entry reimbursement assistance for current SVSP Sailing Supporters (2025/26) individuals or crews. This ensures you can continue to represent our values and spirit on the water while building skills, confidence, and connection through sailing.
