That’s where the Saltwater Veterans Sailing Project steps in—offering a safe and supportive environment that combines the calming qualities of the sea with the camaraderie of shared experiences.

Port Waratah have partnered with Saltwater Veterans Sailing Project to foster a strong veterans’ community for current and former serving veterans, with a focus on positive mental health and social connections.

Saltwater Veteran Sailing Days, hosted by the RPAYC are an importantpart of the Club’s weekly calendar. The event is sailed in the club’s fleet of Elliott 7 keelboats and includes a number of volunteers and sailors from the RPAYC community.
