The Elliott 7 has now been safely delivered and unloaded at Fleet Base East.
A huge thank you to the crew of HMAS Warramunga and Fleet Base East Port Services for braving the rain — and for bringing their enthusiasm, teamwork, and smiles! Everyone was so willing to jump in and lend a hand — we couldn’t have done it without their support!
Next steps:
We’ve already begun removing auxiliary equipment from the base, and over the coming weeks we’ll be reassembling the vessel so it can be moved off base for maintenance and commissioned into service with the Saltwater Veterans Sailing Project.
